Will is a Director of Strategy and Operations based in Stockholm and overseas strategy and investment operations, including investor relations. He joined Northzone in 2018 and before was Vice President focusing his time primarily on the wider web3 movement including gaming, fintech, DeFi, and data in Northern Europe. Will joined the firm as Pär-Jörgen’s Chief of Staff.
Prior to Northzone, he co-founded PWC Sweden’s accelerator program, worked with Natalia Brzezinski and the team at Brilliant Minds. And got a taste of the real world as a fisherman in the Barents Sea.
He holds an MSc. in Finance and Management from The Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm.
Whether it’s traveling or working. If I get comfortable, I get restless. I’ve always been excited by new thinking. It’s what motivated me to found my own, non-tech, businesses, Future Of and be part of Brilliant Minds. It’s still what motivates me every day. When not at the office you can typically find me on a surf trip, looking for the perfect right-hand peeler.
Before and during my studies I worked as a fisherman on the Barents Sea. Being a commercial fisherman is a tough life, but I learnt a lot. Working with an international crew taught me vital lessons about teamwork and going the extra mile.
I love reading history and biographies, especially of people who have chosen to do their own thing and take a path less traveled. I also love sci-fi. William Finnegan, Liu Cixin, Tara Westover, and Jon Krakauer all inspire me
