Tomas Bennich



Tomas joined Northzone as an Advisor in 2014, becoming a Venture Partner in March 2015. 

His primary areas of focus are scouting new technologies and emerging companies to find scalable investment opportunities. He also helps Northzone’s portfolio companies with connections and assistance to facilitate their growth through his network of over 30 000 contacts.

Tomas has a background as a management consultant with Andersen where he delivered business advise to large corporates. At the peak of the dot com bubble, Tomas joined a startup as CEO which ended up being acquired on his first day of business. Tomas then worked to build and integrate the business and for the benefit of the buying partner. 

Since 2004, Tomas has been running international startup sales activities covering all the largest tech events across Europe, Asia and the US, building a truly global network, as well as being very active in the Swedish startup community.

Tomas is often engaged as a speaker to talk about future trends in mobile and global trends, and has spoken at events in India, Kuala Lumpur and San Francisco among others.
