Being an early stage investor, the team is incredibly important and in some cases the single most critical part. I will therefore spend quite some time getting to know you and the team, perhaps more than what seems sensible. I want to hear about your weekend, then we’ll get to business.
I’m by nature very curious, so I’m motivated by learning about people, a new industry or a new way of doing things (at times also hugely motivated by a glass of red lingering at the end of a long day)
I’m an avid but very broad reader. Coming into the fall season - which is my favorite time of year because it's mushroom season and you can finally start lighting candles again - I'm looking forward to re-reading the Swedish classic City of My Dreams series by Per Anders Fogelström. Other recent reads I've loved are The Friend by Sigrid Nunez and Life 3.0 by Max Tegmark.
I am not just tone deaf, I am also extremely competitive so my poor ego would never recover.
