This is an obvious truth, but as an early-stage investor, a team is the single most important thing for me when I invest. I want to get to know you and your team, perhaps more than what you think is reasonable for an investor. Let’s talk about your weekend, then we’ll get to business.
I’m by nature very curious, so learning about people and their super powers will always be the #1 motivation for me. Coming in a close second place for motivation is disrupting inefficient incumbents and a huge glass of Piemontese red.
I'm an extroverted introvert, so I tend to need a lot of quiet moments. I'm at my happiest when I can spend my entire day with founders, to then land at home, with my dog, reading. I'm a total book nerd so the fastest way to my heart is definitely by recommending a must-read.
I am not just tone deaf, I am also extremely competitive so my poor ego would never recover.
