Johanna Olnén
Johanna joined Northzone as a Data Analyst in 2025, where she leads the development and execution of Northzone’s data strategy, helping Northzone become an even smarter and more efficient investor.
Prior to Northzone, Johanna spent three years as a data consultant, working across both a consumer marketplace company and a private equity firm to drive data-driven decision-making. Earlier in her career, she joined the Stockholm startup ecosystem while still studying, working at companies including Hedvig and Northvolt, as well as spending a period on the investment side in venture capital.
Johanna holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and a Master’s in Machine Learning from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm.
Where would we find you outside of work?
Many hours each week you’ll find me out running. I can’t quite explain why, but I’ve loved it for a long time, it clears my mind and helps me reset.
If you weren’t working at Northzone, where would we find you?
I’ve always loved architecture and beautiful homes. If I ever switched careers, I’d probably become an architect.
