Jackson is Northzone’s CFO, and is based in London. His role is focused on ensuring Northzone runs a tight ship, including investor reporting and meeting the firm’s obligations.
Prior to joining Northzone, Jackson was Financial Controller at IP Group – a FTSE-listed Venture firm specialising in University spin-outs, and trained with PwC in their investment management assurance department. Jackson holds an ACA
from the ICAEW, and an MA in Global Political Economy and a BSc in Nanotechnology, both from the University of Sussex.
I find the combination of analytical rigour with the challenges of helping fast-growth companies achieve their potential incredibly rewarding. Plus, seeing all the new ideas and technologies is just so cool.
Don’t get me wrong, finishing it was huge. But (runners look away now) I just find long-distance running so boring – Marathon du Médoc has the right idea!
