Andrea Gazvini
Andrea joined Northzone as an investor based in the Stockholm office, investing in early-stage to growth companies across the Nordics and beyond.
Prior to Northzone, Andrea spent over four years at Bain & Company, focusing on tech investment due diligence, performance improvement, and commercial excellence. She also has experience in later-stage private equity and investment banking and was part of Antler, helping establish their second global office in 2018.
Andrea holds a Bachelor in Business Economics from the Stockholm School of Economics.
What makes you lean in during a founder pitch?
What excites me the most is meeting founders with contagious energy and relentless drive to realize a bold vision. Those are the moments that truly inspire me and energize me as an investor.
What’s your biggest interest outside of investing?
I’m passionate about learning new languages and hope to speak at least six fluently one day (currently at 4.5!). Right now, I’m fully immersed in German, which has become my latest obsession.
What’s something about you that we won’t find on your LinkedIn?
I legally changed my first name at 15, from Gunnel to Andrea. If you’re curious why, just Google the average age of people named Gunnel in Sweden (hint >75 years).
